1. Conditions of Business
The conditions of delivery, services and offers made by Weber’s World stem exclusively from our terms of business and our business conditions even in the case where these have not been reconfirmed. Once an order for goods has been placed these conditions are considered binding. Departure/s from these terms and conditions is/are only valid whern confirmrd in writing by Weber’s World.
2. Contract Partners
Weber’s World delivers the whole world. Foreign orders are executed tax free. However the customer is responsible for payment of any sales tax or customs duty in the country of destination (home country). Weber’s World draws your attention to the fact.that fees charged can vary and is in the clients interest to clarify this for himself.
3. Offers of Goods and Orders:
The offers of Weber’s World in their online shop, in price lists, tenders and advertisements are not binding and are without obligation..
4. Engraving
Weber’s World offers free engraving on almost all its knives which are specifically marked with an engraving option.
Extent of free engraving options:
Small knives: A single line consisting of 10 characters
Standard and large knives: One line up to 15 characters
Wenger Evolution knives: Only initials possible
Engraving charges for each additional line (maximum 3 lines), CHF 1.00 per line.
Engraving charges for knives made with special materials:
Rescue Tool: CHF 3.50
Swiss Tool: CHF 2.20.
5. Prices, Shipping Costs and Delivery
All prices are quoted in Swiss Francs excluding 7.6% Swiss sales tax. On our online shop’s home page there is a currency converter enabling you to change to other currencies. Please note that with credit card payments Weber’s World has to calculate the current rate of the currency as based on the calculations made by the terminal into Swiss Francs. This amount ist often somewhat higher than is shown in the foreign currency amount. Hence the customer benefits by saving on bank charges. If a customer does not wish to have a withdrawal calculated in his own currency he must please specify this at the time of making his order.
Shipping costs are calculated at a minimum of CHF 7.00 at the time of purchase. Shipping is made through the Swiss Postal authorities. The current shipping costs are calculated for the articles listed in the order. The delivery time using ‚economy‘ post is approximately one week in Switzerland, to Europe up to 12 days and to the resi of the world up to 18 days. With priority post about 4 days in Switzerland, to Europe up yo one week and to the rest of the world up to 10 days.
6. Guarantee
The guarantee stipulations of the mahufacturer apply. With claims enclose the guarantee certificate and briefly describe what is not in norder with the goods. Where the good are sent directly to the manufacturer the return delivery is considerably reduced.
7. Payment
Weber’s world accepts the following means of payment. An account in Switzerland (the address of the purchaser must appear in the telephone directory). For all overseas orders, PayPal, Visa, Master Card and American Express. For Indonesia: PayPal.
8. Conditional Sales Contract
All goods ordered and delivered remain the property of Weber’s World until such time as they are fully paid for.
9. Warranty
Weber’s World guarantees that the ordered goods are new and are immaculate in function. However, should defects be apparent the goods may be returned to us within 10 days. Please enclose receipt and written explanation.
10. Court ofl Jurisdiction
The court of jurisdiction is Lucerne LU, Switzerland. The legal position is according to and subordinate to Swiss law.
